Teryn Anderson

Thanks for being here! I graduated from Iowa State in 2014 with a BFA in graphic design. Go cyclones! I currently work as a communicator and designer for a non-profit in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. My main thing is graphic design but my role lends me having my hands in many pots including: photography, web/asset management, copywriting, and social media.

You can usually find me trying not to scroll Instagram reels, making moves to spend time outside, either running, gardening, or devoting creative energy to house renovations — basically anything that gets me away from a screen outside of the 9-5. I love learning about new Illustrator and InDesign techniques and am passionate about regenerative farming, women's health, and love listening to the latest Crime Junkie podcasts.

I'm not sure if I have enough expertise to call myself an expert, but I definitely have enough to feel passionately about the importance of over communicating, brand integrity, working hard, and letting small potatoes be small potatoes. There's nothing more I love than work that doesn't feel like work, good leadership, and a solid mission.
